Student Responses about our Software and Training

I recently figured out that I have a "talent" for this field after a few decades in and about IT.

Every time I picked up a book on forensics, I found Dan Mares tools and name mentioned. I would go to websites and find his name buried away - for example (click on contacts)

My independent, outsider, don't know the field, review of the data, lead me rapidly to the conclusion that his tools were going to get me closer to the metal faster then any GUI tool out there and that that my learning time might be longer, but in production his stuff would be faster for the vast majority of stuff I would encounter in civil litigation work. Also working with his tools would give me a better understanding of what was happened with the data and process then learning the GUI way to health and happyness.

I am an independent biz guy. For me to go to a class on anything means I loose: like a week of billables and all the profit I made that I have to use for travel, housing, class fees etc ( how many hours of work give you say, 2,000 dollars)

I don't like spending money on training. Been burned by too many point and clicker's at other courses.

I did not waste a single penny taking the time to go to Atlanta for the class. And I am one of those fellows who "spends both sides of the coin" and "squeezes the buffalo's off of nickels".

IMHO - Danny Mares tools are not for the faint of heart or brain. They are for those who understand process and can think before they act.

I took his class on the tools. He has classes on the basics and advanced of computer forensics.
