VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE ORDERING As of April 2008 Maresware will be shipping via a CD-Rom, and a license dongle. Don't get upset, its not the typical pain dongle. Its only used to initialize the software with ownership information to prevent software theft. You know what that is. Anyway, because the dongles are costly, the price of the suite and each program will have to be increased to cover the cost of the dongles. Good news is, one dongle is going to handle all the software. (hopefully).
(2/2008) (UNI2ASC.exe) A simple program to take a pure English Ascii Unicode file and turn it into plain text. No need to open it in Word or Notepad and convert. Call for access to the program. Download: URL_SRCH URL_SRCH is a program which finds files that contain IP addresses, e-mail addresses, and URL formats. It then provides a list of those files for the user to act upon. Maresware Hash Set CD: The January 2008 (ver. 2.18) hash over 13 million known file hashes but with the output as fixed length records--ready for further processing. Very fast: check our statistics! Up to 5 different types of log files can be created for e-discovery purposes. Diskcat (5/2007) Has been updated to allow the user to not only modify the header listings for file header identification, but allow the user to specify a specific category for each header type. This provides more control over output listings by "file type". Very useful in e-discovery. (2/2007) A simple program called seadate to decode the date code on Seagate Hard Drives. (10/2006) A simple ROT13 conversion utility. This program takes a file and performs a ROT13 conversion on the data. Hash (1/2004) Can insert a comment field at the beginning of every output record.
