As of April 1, 2009, we have stopped supporting and upgrading the 16-bit software, and as such, many of the 16-bit Maresware programs have been release as freeware/shareware and are generally free for the asking. You can usually download the working/freeware/shareware versions directly from the appropriate page containing the programs description. (ie: the a-c,etc. alpha listings above). If the version downloaded is not the free version, just let me know. (Its probably because i forgot to upload it). As always, the user assumes all liability and responsibility (see terms) for using the software. Mares and Company is not liable for any problems, damages, incorrect, or impoper usage of the software.

If you wish to go directly to the anonymous ftp site, use this URL ftp://anonymous @ dmares.com @ dmares.com and your e-mail is your password. VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE ORDERING As of April 2008 Maresware will be shipping via a CD-Rom, and a license dongle. Don't get upset, its not the typical pain dongle. Its only used to initialize the software with ownership information to prevent software theft. You know what that is. Anyway, because the dongles are costly, the price of the suite and each program will have to be increased to cover the cost of the dongles. Good news is, one dongle is going to handle all the software. (hopefully).
(4/2009) (ACCESS.exe) A simple program describing where to find the last access date update key, and it also shows if the computer you run it on has that key set or not. Download: ACCESS.exe password is your e-mail address. (4/2009) (VSS.exe) A simple program to mount an XP, VISTA, SERVER, Volume Shadow Copy as a logical drive letter. More verbose logfiles can be created for e-discovery purposes. Diskcat (4/2009) User can assign a header to a specific group name. Also updated to handle long unicode (>255 characters) filenames.
